Here's the Hollywood one from last year. This one was just as amazing...

Last week one of the highlights of being at the game was watching our band. I cannot tell you how much I miss being at games; not just because of my love for the buckeyes, but because of how awesome TBDBITL is. Seriously, this was half of the halftime show:

It was a tribute to TV land. They did the following which wasn't caught by the above clip:

-I Love Lucy (one heart inside another and they each moved)
-Bonazna (a steer head with smoke coming out of his nose)
-Gilligan's Island (a boat and an island w/palm tree. they moved the boat and marooned it on the island)
-Stewie's head from Family Guy
-Homer's head from the Simpsons
And probably more that I forgot.

I sooo took them for granted when I was a student.

I don't understand how we're so undisciplined this year? How many penalties have we had in this game already? We had wayy too many against USC, but you'd think we'd be able to clean it up against Troy. WTH?

My teeth hurt. Yesterday the "Permanent" retainer attached to my teeth (from behind) broke off after 3 years. Good news: It's hella easy to floss. Bad News: I think my teeth want to move and it hurts :-(

I want to bang my head against the wall. I'm watching bridezillas... How people are happy being treated as poorly as they are, I don't get it. I guess whatever floats your boat, but damn.

Happy Birthday, bluebuckeye!

I will not insert any play on your name because well.... Last night sucked.

If it weren't Michigan, I'd feel sorry for them...

Losing to ND? By this much?

I'm sitting on my couch, watching gameday, and icing my eye. I've got a marble sized bump a half inch from my eye due to walking into a tall filing cabinet. If I were a half-inch shorter or the cabinet a half inch higher I would have poked my eye and wound up in an ER. 12 hours later and it's still pretty swolen. :-(

I am also very nervous that I will do quite a bit of yelling today... and not the happy kind :-(

This weekend has been spent watching football, cleaning the apartment, doing laundry, canning tomatoes and beef, and making my favorite recipe: Chicken Tikka Masala.

Now I know that I'm not making "authentic" tikka masala, and I feel I'm missing a key ingredient. I can't for the life of me figure out what the ingredient is, but I still really like what I make. I now have 3 lunches ready for this week. Sweet!

2 Chicken breasts - 1.33
Yogurt - .60
Tomato Sauce- .60
Cream- 1.2
Garlic cloves- .1
jalepeno- .1
spices- 1 (at most!)
rice- negligible (2 uncooked cups from a 20 pound bag)

Total cost for 4 meals: less than $5

So this morning I've been to the farmer's market to pick up onions, garlic, peppers, peaches, corn, and a HUGE bag of canning tomatoes. I mean HUGE. Then I headed to Sam's to get myself some chuck roast for canning. Then I ended my trip at Meijer to get some wide-mouth jars. I saw they had their chuck roast on sale which means I spent too much at Sam's. Oh well. It happens.

Then I came home and cut up 11 quarts worth of those tomatoes. Now I'm processing my first batch while watching this awful game.

Speaking of.. Where the hell is our team? I hope they find some motivation during half-time. Damnit. We should be playing better than this!
